I am an American Kennel Club (AKC) breeder of thirteen (13) inch class beagles of all colors including:
 

• Tri-Color
• Lemon & Whites
• Multi-Colors
• Brown & Whites

I personally have had beagles for 20 years and have been breeding them for the past 7 years. They are like my kids and they have their own house which is heated with a large fenced in area for them to run and play. If they are not outside playing they are usually inside with our family watching tv on the beds or playing with us.

When puppies are born they are raised inside our house and given love and kindness. They get their first puppy shot which is a 5 to 1 because they are too young to receive the 7 to 1 because of an adverse reaction to the leptrious vaccine. Puppies are wormed twice and are started on food at 3 weeks to help the mom ween them. They are fed diamond puppy food and the adults are fed diamond high energy which you can find at most nutrena dealers or tractor supply stores. It is highly digestible and loaded with vitamins and proteins.

Beagles make a great family pet and are very good with children as they are very loving and protective. They are good size for apartments as long as you exercise them daily. Beagles are full of energy and like to run and walk. They are also great hunting dogs if you give them proper training. They are good in field trials and some excel in agility trials!
